awesome weekend! States and Rooney!

This weekend was amazing. One of the best of my entire life.
I went to both the girls and boys water polo games on friday, girls lost and boys won. I went with Monique, steph, christina and jen and we even made shirts for the games. It was a great time, It was halloween so there were a ton of people in costumes down on campus which was enetertaining. A lot of other people ended up going to the games on friday night too, so we all ended back @ Tyson's house after the game. It was uneventful but fun, I got to talk to AJ for a while to hear about her trip - she went to camp Ohio too and it sounds like she had just as good as time as I did which is awesome.
Sat. I went to the state champs. game for the boys water polo during the day with basically the same group of people from the night before. The boys won!! yay for them - state champs 2 years in a row!! That was a good time, i love cheering at games. Plus the game was one of the best I have ever seen. we were down for the entire game until 2 of our seniors scored a goal in the last 30 seconds of the game. so we ended up 9-7. Meghan was in town with Steve and Brian and its always nice to see her.
I went to the regional finals for boys soccer on sat. night too. Unfortunalty the boys lost - i felt so bad for them, almost our entire team is senoirs, and we lost badly 3-0. ahh such a downer after the boys water polo had won earlier in the day. I basically did the same thing @ night as friday. I went to AJ's and just hung out over there till Monique and I had to leave around 11:30. But still fun, its always nice to hang out wiht people you dont get to very often.
Then the highlight of my weekend was sunday when i spent the whole day at Promowest before the Rooney concert! Shannon, Christina, Steph and I were down there a little before noon and we were first in line!!! It was great, we made a honk for Ronney sign and basically sat around for 5 hours before anyone really started to show up. But we were fist in line!!! And since we were there so early we got to meet both opening acts before the conert and talk to them for a good 20 or 30 minutes. One of the bands Keane, was especially nice. They gave us all free cds and shannon even got a t-shirt and they signed everything for us. We were front and center for the whole concert. Keane and The Sounds kicked butt, definitly great opening acts. Rooney was awesome too, but they were so drunck they really didnt do much interaction with the crowd which was kinda a bummer. but other than that it was a great time.
Cheerleading starts this wednesday, so we'll see how it goes. Im kinda scared its not gonna be much fun but we'll see.
